In Netscape 6 my mouse_over buttons looks really odd when I hover over, they reaload really slow and show background every time. I do preload all images in the body tag and there are no issues in NS 4, 5 and 7 or EI Explorer all versions?

thank you for your time...

The answer: Netscape 6 sucks. I hate to say that because I am a huge fan of that family of browsers, but that release is generally regarded as cruddy.

I viewed your site with Mozilla 1.2.1 and it worked perfectly. Mozilla 1.2.1 is a cousin of Netscape 6 that is much quicker and more advanced, stable, etc. .

Hey Petey

Thanks for your reply
Yeah that really is crummy...the wicked thing is I've used the exact mouse over script in another page and it works just dandy...?!

Anyhow i guess it is just too bad then....crummy model T browser.. ; )

How are you creating your images? Are you letting Fireworks or ImageReady cut them up for you?

You may be saving background to your images.

I know that 'should' show everywhere, but sometimes it doesn't.

Hi..

Yes I let fireworks "Cut" my images, but ultimately I create other "slimmer" (two image) mouse overs in Dreamweaver. Finally I use the up image as the background in the table cell, that seems to enhance it a bit. But its wacky that there is such a disparity in the handling of simple javascript in NS 6?!

Thanks for all your replies...You saved me from going nuts ; )
