Netscape 4.77 crashing when forwarding or replying to e-mails.

Hey,

Got a user that Netscape 4.77 Messenger keeps crashing and shutting down when replying or forwarding messages from the inbox. Already deleted all *.snm files. Created a second e-mail profile locally and copied Mail folder from user's old profile into the new profile. Get same result with the new profile. User is pop3 user. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The only thing left is to uninstall and reinstall the software. If you still get the error try uninstalling and then cruise through the registry and delete all occurrences of Netscape/Communicator.

Does the error occur on a similar machine with the same user? Does the error not occur with a different user on the same machine? Just have to rule out a few things and go from there...
