NetMeeting Problem

Hi,

The remote desktop sharing within NetMeeting stopped working for me 2 days ago. I cannot connect to my PC from any PC in the LAN via the remote desktop sharing. However, I can connect to other PCs from mine and use the remote desktop sharing.

I tried to enable the remote desktop sharing from the Tools pull down menu in NetMeeting. But the "Sharing" menu item was grayed out. I couldn't activate the Remote desktop sharing in my PC.

Any suggestion to fix this problem is appreciated.

Is this on a win2k system? Check out article Q267958 on the Microsoft website. I have the article printed out because I had to do this a while back. This article will explain how to uninstall and reinstal Netmeeting. If you can't find the article, I can provide more detail.

Also, a repair installation using the win2k cd should also fix.

Thanks for the suggestion. My system is Win2k professional. I followed the instruction in Q267958 and the end result was the same. The "Sharing" menu item was still grayed out. I couldn't activate the Remote desktop sharing in my PC.

Any other suggestion is appreciated.
