netmeeting and xp 3

will netmeeting work between computers using windows 98 and windows xp.On the upgrade box for xp it states that to use video conferencing both computers must have Netmeeting and XP.I want to upgrade to XP, but not a the cost being able to use Netmeeting with my Win. 98 friends.

Within XP, right click on your messenger icon and select "Compatibility" - within this section set messenger to run in Windows2000 mode - this will allow you to use netmeeting with earlier OS.
