I'm putting in a wireless network for a client, and using an SMC barricade (SMC2804WBR), which acts as a f/w and internal switch. normally I would install this with SMC PCI cards and PCMCIA for laptops, but in this situation he already has a load of Netgear PCI cards he wants to use. all are 802.11G, like the 2804, but can I anticipate any compatibilty issues???

Only way is to try it, here lately a lot of the incompatibility problems do not exist like they used to.

Just make sure you get the most up-to-date firmware.

guess I'll just have to go for the old suck it and see approach. I'll post back if there's issues
