I have a Netgear MR814 wireless/ethernet router with 3 PCs and a Netgear PS110 print server connected, and until today all the PCs were happily sharing files, Internet and printing to the 2 printers attached to the PS110. In an attempt to get my recently-acquired laptop to see the Print Server over the wireless connection (which is a separate problem), I set the IP address of the print server, rather than the default of obtaining an IP address from the router, and now the router doesn't recognise the print server, and of course neither can any of the PCs.
This model print server doesn't have a reset button and I am now unable to remove the static IP address I assigned it, even when switching it off and on again; I can't configure the print server through the admin software any more as it can't find it either.
Can anyone tell me if the static IP address is the reason the router no longer recognises the print server, and if so, how to reset the print server to obtain its IP address from the router acting as DHCP server? (The IP address I assigned is 192.168.0.3, which is what the router was reporting for the print server prior to the horror I have now).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
