Keep getting bombarded with these messages in the eventlog. I have searched Technet and MS Knowlege base. Please Help.

NT Device: Server
Log Type: Application
Event Type: Error
Event Source Name: Perflib
Event ID: 1011
Event Description: The library file "" specified for the ".NETFramework" service could not
be opened. Performance data for this service will not be available.
Status code is data DWORD 0.

Do you have the .net framework on the server installed? If not apps written with .net framework may have problems.

I have tried to install it through Windows Uupdates it says it is not installed. So try to reinstall and it says it fails. However, when go into add/remove program it is. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
