Hello,
Can anyone tell me where I might find some good information regarding the DP1 for Windows exam?
There is no in depth training on it and the exam objectives posted on Veritas' website are pretty vague.

Hi

You don't need to read all of the manuals straight away for the new format of exams.

For the DP-021W (replaces DP-01W exam) exam you don't need to know the admin side for NBU it's more about designing the solution Just look at

Passing this exam now gives you the 'Veritas Certified Designer award'.You will need good real world experience in putting DP solutions together and know the Veritas range of products.

You can then go and do the DP-022W exam which is all to do with implementation of NBU - this is where you will need to get stuck into the admin manuals....passing this by itself would give you the 'Veritas Certified in Implementation' award.

If you succesfully pass both exams then you are awarded the 'Veritas Certified Professional' award.

There are courses available from Veritas (obviously fee based).
