I am looking for opinions for Clustering Software to use for
Veritas Netbackup failover. Computing environment is HP-UX. Is VCS better suited because it is a Veritas product or is MCService Guard recommended because the hardware is HP?

I hate to say it but ... You are in the wrong forum. This is about Veritas NetBackup DataCentre. Please check the forum lists for the correct location for your questions.

Is anyone out there Clustering your Netbackup servers? If so, what software are you using?

I have seen this done with MSCluster for Windows and VCS for Unix.

I believe NBU DC is best clustered with VCS. I've done this personally a few times with both W2K and Solaris Master Servers and it works great. Another big advantage is you have a common support contact for NBU and VCS. I feel that VCS is a superior product...
