Netbackup cant found a tape!

Hello everyone,
I m using a w2k server with a Compaq storage library msl5000. I have some dlt tapes that are on the Weekly pool but dont expire! When I try bpmedia -expire or unfreeze I get
"requested media id was not found in NB media database and/or MM volume database"
any ideas ?

Not sure which version you are running or patch level. You could run the vmquery command to query the media and see if it shows you anything. Also the command to expire media is bpexpdate.

vmquery worked ! needed the -disassingbyid feature. the patch is 4.5 so i dont think that was the problem.
i m ok now !!!
