NetBackup and multiple NIC’s.

I am trying to setup NBU V4.5.2 to work with multiple NIC’s on Solaris 8. Das anyone have any suggestions in this case? I have a Master/Media and 2 Media servers in backup domain.

A separate VLAN for the backup network could be done so that you keep backup data separate from the production data. With this you just have to ensure that you configure NetBackup to use the specific interface.

You could you fast ether channelling to get the two nics combined into one IP.

It is not the case there I am trying to separate the traffic flow. I am trying to consolidate internal (10.0.0.0) and external (151.0.0.0) backup clients. Master server associated with internal address (10.0.0.0).
