Netbackup 6.0 Mailbox Backup

Hi,

ive migrated our Mailserver from Backup Exec to Netbackup 6.0.

Ive 2 Robots attached to a Direct Attached Storage. I backup my Exchange 5.5 Server to Tape Robot2 and the Mailboxes to Disk and then Duplicate to Tape on Robot1.

Our priv.edb is about 30GB. I was shocked seeing the image file created for Backup to Disc was 450GB !!

Is that normal behaviour? Never had that with Backup Exec.
Any ideas about that?

Are you saying 1 backup is 450GB or multiple?

theres ohne file of 450GB and it belong only to the
Mailbox Policy. But our priv.edb is only 30GB. the whole
exchange server has max of 200GB of HDD Space.

any ideas why? Backup time is now much too long (and the
file of course too big).
