Netbackup 5.1 Pre-& Postscripting Question

Hello all,

i wanted to ask if someone is fit with pre and postscripting in Netbackup 5.1.
I tried to set it up, but without success. I´ve written a small pre-command which generates a filelist of openfiles and after this i want the Backup to start. My Problem now is: When the Precommand fails, the Backup also starts what i dont want. I´ve also made a syntax, when my Prescript fails that it exits with an "Return Code unequal 0". I get an returncode unequal zero but the backup starts???? Can someone help me. Maybe i´ve forgotten to do something or to set a Variable somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no pre-post-scripting expert, but I would try to cancel de scheduled jobs in the pre-script.
