I am trying to backup a Netware 5.0 box from my Masterbackup server which is a Win2k server. I have setup classes for the novell box. Everytime I a backup runs I get a Error 71. I can do a user directed backup from the Win2k server using the Netware client I just can't get a scheduled job to run. I think it is a rights issue but can't figure out where to look. Any help would be great
Thanks
Scott

Hi!

what type off setup are you using. Non target or target.
If you are using the target version you will have to
Set up a target on the nw server and then use this traget name in the file/directory feild in oure class

I am trying to use a non-target. I setup a class (netware)added Novell server as a client. But when I go to add the files, that is where I run into the problem. What do I need to do on the Novell side if anything?

Thanks
Scott

Hi!

On the netware server you have to creat a target
for example create a target called sys for backuping up the sys volyme.

On the netware server load bp

use t) target conf.
a) add new target
Target name = SYS
chose SMDR = youre server.
TSA = Netware File System
Target service = 1
type in user name = .name.OU
and password = xxxxx
Add target = Yes
then in your class put the target name as file
/targetname
Hope this will help.

/Ulf
