Hi all,
Is anyone here using the Archiver module on Network Appliance NetApps which are serving via NFS to Solaris and Linux clients?
We're looking to do this, but the docs on CommVault's web site are quite vague. Ideally, we'd like to NOT have to install any software on our NFS clients, just on the Unix Media Server to handle the Archiver.
We know we'll need a CIFS license from NetApp to enable the F-Policy stuff, which will handle the interception of the Stubs on the NetApp, but we really want to hear from others who have implemented this type of setup on how well it works.
Thanks,
John
