Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can assist me with getting the firmware for a Seagate Cheetah ST373307FC hard drive. The segate firmware version is 0000.
Just to give a heads up, I have a netapp FAS250 which lost a hard drive and I recently just purchased a generic replacement as there is no support contract for our netapp device. Also if I'd like to purchase replacement directly from NetApp it would be quite pricey.
From my research I have found out that you can update the firmware of the drive while it is plugged in however, I do not have the NetApp firmware for this particular hard drive. I have checked the etc directory on the system however, the firmware version I need isn't there.
Does anyone have access NetApp support and can quite possibly can send me the NetApp firmware for this particular hard drive?
