.NET windows app with OE1100. The windows form has OE1100 ocx. Upon launching, the form returns an error message "Closing the UI due to failure to active Accpac data sources."

What might have missed?
 
Other than working with VB6 to make your life easier? :)

You might need to add other reference to your project like datasources and the ApiCOM.
 
Try dropping the OCX on a new form. See if that works

I can literally drop the OCX in a brand new VB.net project and run it right away without any code changes (and it works). No need to revert to vb6
 
Check to make sure that you have the correct path based on the version of Accpac that you're developing for.
 
I converted the app to vb6, due to the fact that it is not a big app. It is easier that way.
