.Net Update Question

This is probably a really dumb question. Are the .Net Frameworks (1.1, etc.) automatically updated when a user runs Windows Update? I'm assuming they are, but just checking to be sure.

Assuming the user has not excluded .net framework from being downloaded using the "custom" option provided then yes, by default .net framework is updated automatically.

Thanks, I was hoping that was the case, but wasn't positive.
