NET SEND

Ok, so I know that normally only NT based workstations can recieve a NET SEND message.

My question is, and I looked around a little, can I get a utility that will allow my Win98 stations to recieve Net Send messages also?

The only utilities that I can seem to find just allow to type and send your message in a little window, but do not allow for Win98 to recieve.

Have you tried Winpopup.exe?

Yes, the problem with winpopup.exe is, is it doesn't actually popup when it receives a netsend message, it will stay minimized or stay behind other open windows.

When NT receives a netsend message a message box pops up on the screen and stays on top of all the other open windows, so the user will most likely get the message. One would hope...

In winpopup.exe, select messages | options. There you can select "pop up dialog on message receipt".
