Hi,

Can we run C#.NET applications on other Operating Systems like LINUX, UNIX, MAC??

Thanx

There is an open-source project called Mono which allows you to run some .net applications on those platforms. You just have to be careful about which classes you use.

Some classes in the .Net framework may not be completely reflected in the Mono framework.

Though the Mono project strives to recreate the exact framework, some objects are either not done (either they havent gotten to them yet, or dont plan on using them at all since they are specific to windows) or do not funtion exactly the same as they would under .Net

thanx for replies.

Any class you know of that hasnt been implemented or doesnt work in MONO version?

Cheers
