.NET compatibilty with P4

Hi EveryBody ,
This question is for anyone who uses .NET in a P4 machine . I have heard (may be a rumour) that vbc compiler does not work properly in a P4 machine . Is it correct ? Did anyone of you faced such problem ?
Please help me by giving your valued opinion .

I'm using it on a 1.8GHz P4 without any problems.

If it was true then it would seem odd that Microsoft would make a program that did not work with the current Intel products.
