Hi

Our company currently uses Goldmine 6 (BCM). The plan is that we will be integrating parts of that with our website (via the Goldmine API). Our website is currently in ASP (VBscript) but we will be moving to .NET.

My question is, does anyone know of any specifications/articles/help etc. for using .NET for the API and which language to use (e.g. VB.NET or C#)? I am in the stages of deciding whether to use VB.NET or C# and the integration to Goldmine is a huge deciding factor.

Any experiences, thoughts or links you could share would be much appreciated
;)

Thanks Richard.

I don't know much about the Goldmine API so I don't know if I could just get away with stored procedures (for what we want to do) but that's definitely a thought worth pursuing.

Thanks again

If you want to mix GoldMine with ASP or with .Net programs, there are tools for it on
If you just access the gm6s32.dll in ASP.Net it will crash all over the place in run time

If you are doing a VB.Net program, then you will want to use the CrossTalk.dll for your connection to DDE requirements
