I hope someone would help me with design problem I am facing.
I am working on an application that consists of performing performance training check lists.
I have created the categories along with thier sub elements. I have a level of 4 subcategories created.
That is, the Main Questions(sections) could have one or more subcategories, which in return could have subcategories.
After liking the table I am able to view categories and subcategories going down 4 levels.
Now the problem is I want to have a main Tabbed Form(containing the main Category) then each tab on the Main Form will hold anothe set of Tabbed subforms on each. Very nested category. Now the questions that need to be check are located at the lowelest level of each category.
I hope I was clear with my question.
Thank you
Bensta

This sounds awfully cumbersome. Could you do this in a tree view? You could click on the lowest level nodes and pop up a subform with more details.

Hi MajP
Thank you for the response. Could you please explain more? Can I use a tree view in access?
Thank you
Bensta

Yes, you can use a treeview but it does require a bit of coding. Not sure if this is a good option for you, but often it is a good interface when things are nested many levels. It would look like a windows explorer file browser where you can expand or collapse levels.

Do you think you could direct me to an example that is similar to my situation? I will appreciate it very much
Thank you so much
