Needs a Password Reminder function

I want to add a password reminder function to my login page.
Is there a useful DW extension or some existing php code that I can employ? I am using DXMX2004, php/msql.

I have come across some code that looks relevant at:

Unfortunately it is beyond my skills to know quite how to employ it, and I could do with some advice.

that link you provided essentially looks up provided email in database and if the match is found sends the email.
So you would make a simple html page with a single form field(for email) that would be submitted to the page (script above). You have to edit the script to reflect info on your database and tables.
