Hi All:
I really could use your help. I have installed and worked with Call Pilot before, but have never installed an MM card in an option 11 C. I have it in Slot but I can not find an installation manual for this model of MM Card. Can someone briefly outline the steps I need to take to get this up and running? I'm assuming I need an ACD, then to build acd agents on some of the TN's 10-0, etc. If you could just outline how to get the MM to communicate with the Option 11 and how the ports (M2008?) need to be programmed I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hi there,

Did one of these guys once; you need an external tape drive that connects to the SCSI port on the bottom-right hand side of the MM.

Then you load the tape onto the drive and power on the MMail.

You'll need to be logged onto the PBX TTY and AX into the MMail AML shell to see it coming up. You need to be aware thought that these guys are strictly tied to the TID / AUX ID of the PBX and require keycode validation during the install phase.

During the install process, you'll be prompted with several setup options (like DSP resource allocation, software package etc) but they're very intuitive and don't really require much messing around with (well not too much anyway).

Hope you manage to sort it :)
