Hello, I am new to these forums and signed in because I frequently browse the tips here (very helpful site!) and I'm quite stumped as to how to solve my problem. Here it is:

I have a main line which is a VDN, we'll call this VDN (Oncology) 555-5555. This simply goes to Vector 1 and has Allow VDN Override set to "Y". The only thing in vector 1 is route to station (Sally the Receptionist) 666-6666. This station has Coverage Path 1. This coverage path rings 5 times, then goes to point1 which is v7777777 (Med Main Call Ctr). This vdn is a call center who use a skill as agents to process calls. This call center would like to see the call coming from Oncology and not Sally. Sally doesn't want to change her personal Caller ID either which is fine.

What i've tried:
Changing VDN override (no change)
Changing the route-to in vector 1 to route-to V1 instead, and added the vdn variable in VDN 555-5555 to 666-6666 which didn't work
I also changed the V1 description to Oncology and still no-go.

Maybe I'm in over my head on this one but it seems like there should be something i can do. Please help!

VDN variables won't help. The description is just locally significant to you and V1=7777777 and route-to V1 is the same as route-to 7777777.

Allow VDN override = "can this VDN's CLID be overridden?"

What does Sally see?

What if VDN override is Y for 7777777 but N for 5555555
Code:
To determine whether to change the active VDN for a call. Valid
entries are y and n.
If you select n, the routed-to VDN does not replace the active
VDN. This field option is the default.
If you select y, the routed-to VDN replaces the active VDN and
the VDN parameters associated with the call use the routed-to
VDN.
This field is applicable if the field option in the Meet-me
Conferencing field on the Vector Directory Number screen is n.

What if 555555 routed to a station of type virtual, with a coverage path, that goes to Sally 666-6666, ring 5, then v777-7777? What if Sally was just a step in a broader coverage path to get to the call center?
