I have a create that retrieves records from access database.
When I run the query, it retrieves records fast but when I try running from vb, it takes up to two minutes to retrieve any records.
Can some please advise me on how to improve retrieval time.
Thanks in advance

What kind of connection to your data are you using, ODBC, ADO, RDO, DAO....?

Please post the ADO code you are using, including the connection string, type of cursor, type of lock, etc...
What version of Access? Is it an access project or MDB?
