I am using Windows2K SP1.
In the Computer Management Utility,
in the Internet Information Services node or branch,
I have enabled server-side and client-side script debugging
In Internet Explorer 5,
I have unchecked the Disable Script Debugging check box.

And yet all STOP statements I set or breakpoints I set using Visual Interdev are IGNORED.

Funny thing is on another computer with identical hardware and software, debugging works.

Am I missing something?

i have the same problem but with ie5.5. I did have ie5.0 on my computer and using break points in the script worked like a dream but as soon as i moved up to 5.5 nothing missed break points is now starting to get on my nerves oh and ie6.0 is the same.

as for ie5.0 have you set the just in time debugging in visual interdev

I'm not sure if this is quite what you're after, but try going to...

And entering in the search criteria "Q233035"

It's a MS Knowledge Base article entitled
"Client Side breakpoints in Active Server Pages are not hit with Internet Explorer 5 Installed"

If that's not helpful, have a search through the Knowledge Base with your own key words - it's a great resource!

Hope this helps =)
