Hi Tekers...

I am working on a few medical research forms and those choices for a few questions are really long. I have used the drop down box to display them. However, with the lenght of the list item, some gets cut off. Is there away that I can wrap them so that full description can be fitted in the drop down list??

TIA.

Hi Ben,

Yes,

I tried not to stretch it all the way out because some other list item is not as long. I thought I can increase the height for the drop down box so that it would be taller a little bit; thus can wrap the description to the next line. But for some reason the height setting would not hold. Beside, it does not matter how much I changed in the dropdown box property; the darn dropdown box won't get any higher. Any idea how I might be able to do this folks...

BTW, I am using vs 2003 pro with iis5.

Thanks

If you are going to be showing large portions of text, maybe consider showing them elsewhere and have a shortened version of the text in the DDL.

Try the Search Facility or read FAQ222-2244 on how to get better results.

ca8msm's suggestion is good. You could use the ItemSelectedChanged event of the ddl to show the "full" text version of the user's choice in a label or a textbox.

Thank you both,

I'll see if I can implement your suggestions on them,

Thanks again.
