Need to run Verification in a seperate job

Currently Runing a full back up once a week and then a Diff daily.. All of the backups have a allotted time to run with the schedule..

So the main problem is that the backup finished but the verification doesn't finish in time..
So if anyone can help me set up a job that will run just verification separately I would appreciate it..

Go to view and make sure the task pane has a check next to it.
Then go to the Job setup tab.
Under backup task select New job to verify backup data.

I'm aware of that option but I'm not positive it will accomplish what I'm attempting to do..
Only "Duplicate####" are selectable when I'm setting up a verify job..
So my question would be.. If I select the duplicate that includes the daily data backup. Will is select the newest created data and verify it daily with the right schedule settings??
