Hi
I have created a report "rpt" file via the report designer.
In the report I have connected to an ADO connection based on ODBC. I have changed the ODBC (to point same table on different DB) but in the "rpt" file the ADO has not changed.
I need to populate my report to different location different DB's. the connection is embedded in report.

What can I do? Changing the report each time for each site looks not reasonable thing to do......

If you use the Report Design Component, you get full access to the Report Creation API which allows you to save the reports after you've changed them. you'll need a license if you use it for more than testing though

I am not using the design component.
I am using the designer application. NO API (I think….)
I am activating the report via ASP page calling the RPT.
The ODBC information is saved within the report, then I can remove the ODBC from the operating system and the report will still run prefect connecting to DB and retrieving information.
