Need to remove ip phone firmware verison from the call server?

The firmware is to new for our ip conference phones, so it will not load. Anyway i can remove it? cs1000 7.5

Yes.

In Element Manager you can manage the IP phone firmware.

Look under Software --> IP Phone Firmware.

You will need to upload the version you are running, then distribute it to your Signaling Server(s).

Then go to Software --> File Upload
This is where you can delete the firmware version that you are not using.

thanks for the reply heres an update:

Our i2033 ended up being so far behind, we had to do a 3 step firmware upgrade to the newest release for them to work. So we had the vendor replace the phones with ones that already had the newest firmware. We went from 4.5 to 7.5, and on 4.5 we had no i2033 firmware on the servers so it did not matter... Once we went to 7.5 the newest fw was loaded..
