I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard. I have a pdf file which has a logo on it that I need to remove. I've tried everything. Is there an erasor tool or someway I can cut this out?

Don't know if standard, as opposed to pro, has this but look for Tools menu/advanced editing/touchup object tool.

If you have that, right dlick on the image and select Delete. Than Save As a new pdf.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook

Acrobat Reader, it's just a viewer for PDFs. I don't think you can edit anything without the Professional version.

If you have Illustrator you could open in there and do it, or even Photoshop. Make sure you resave as PDF again.

I have Adobe Acrobat 8, not Adobe Reader.

As jmgalvin suggested:
Use the Touch-up Object tool to select the image. Then delete it.
