Need to remove a DC

I have a number of 2k server's, one of which I need to remove from the domain.

The server I need to remove hosts the following :-

Infrastructure Master
Operations Master
Global Catalog

There are no other servers in the domain hosting the global catalog.

Do I just DCPROMO the server or do I need to move the above services to another DC first ??

If you dcpromo out a server which is a GC server the other servers should resume the authority to continue hosting the masters.

If you want to be sure you can use another server to take the masters role from the server you want to dcpromo out!

Right click on server in AD, select roles masters and (Capture) take over authority of the masters role.
