We have a user who we need to disable his/her ability to delete his/her own email or at least save any emails he/she tries to delete to a different location so they can be viewed by officers of the company. I have it setup so that officers can pull up this user's email but they feel the user is deleting information as it comes in. They want to save emails that are sent as well as received.

Any way to do this w/o third party software?

Thanks,
Matt B

Hey, that'll work. I wish there was a way to just do it on one mailbox. This looks like it will be doubling my total number of emails stored on my server, which is aging as it is.

Thanks again for the help!

Put the users mailbox on its own store.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!

I'm using Standard Edition so I can only have one per storage group. Creating another storage group I think would create more problems than it would solve.

Thanks,

Won't catch what the user sends though...
