Hi All,

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I have been bashing my head against a brick wall trying to do this.

I have a music database only Artist and song title fields and I want to group like this on my report,

Artist

Song 1, song 2, song 3.............

Rather than

Artist

Song 1
Song 2
Song 3

This is for my karaoke songlist, I am trying to make my books smaller than the 500 Page telephone directory that they are at the moment.

Any help anyone could give me would be welcome.

Thanks

DodgyDj

I'm sure someone will come up with a more efficient way but ....

Given that there will probably be more songs per artist than will fit across the page, how about creating a (temporary) table with fields:
Artist
Song1
Song2
Song3

Create a query to select the data you want, and write it to the table, using multiple records if the songlist exceeds three.

Create your report from that table, grouping on Artist.

Hope this makes sense.
