Is this a registery setting or do I need to update a .ini file. If anyone can assist that would be great.

I think this is what you're looking for. Log onto the server as an administrator, go into the Citrix Connection Configuration. From the main screen, double click the protocol you want to change the idle time of (if you want to change it for all, you will need to follow these steps for each protocol). Click the advanced button at the bottom of the Edit Connection screen. On the left hand side, there is a Timeout Setting (in minutes) column. Uncheck 'inherit user config' of the idle section in this area and then uncheck 'no timeout'. This will allow you to change the time to however long you wish to allow the users to be idle before you kick them off. The other thing you may need to do on this screen is uncheck 'inherit user config' from the bottom of the screen for 'on a broken or timed out connection' as to whether you wish to disconnect the users or reset them. This would depend on your needs. The only draw back I can see is if you are running an application that has to be shut down a certain way this may leave files open (not sure). Let me know if this helped. Mike Brown CCA
