Need to insert Average Line in Bar Graph

Hi--
I have a bar chart that shows length (in minutes) for a # of items (based on various groups). I need to insert a line that displays the average for that group of items going across the graph.

**The # of items in each group varies by group

Try using trending....I found another thread similar..

On your bar chart, right click and select 'Chart Analyzer'. Select any one of the 'Bars' and right click on that same bar, this will display a menu, hover the mouse over 'Format Chart' and click on 'series' (also notice just above 'format chart' is another trendline settings section for more advanced functionality) this will bring up a box headed 'Series options' (well its called that on the English ver) the trendline tab is 4th from the left and within the tab is a tick box 'Show Trendlines' (the uppermost tick-box) tick this and hit OK.
