Hi I have an sx2000 with database corruption the backup is 5 years old so no good, i have managed to get a print out of the telephone directory, what i want to do is import it back to the sx2000 tel dir via procom plus via scripting, does anyone remember how to import it i think you need to import it via excell and at the moment it is a text document.
I need to know how to convert it to excell then how to script it back in via procomm, as i can do a data save/restore to the sx2000 which says the tel dir is empty. Many Thanks

Yes I have just the script you need It is called telcount
I will put it up on the Mediafire FTP server

You just need to add the entries into a blank Excel spreadsheet in the order that the 2k has them and the same amount of columns
you will then need to login to the 2k go to the teldir form and then run the script

Make sure you place the cursor in the first cell you ant to import e.g. A1
you can only import 500 lines at a time

1. enter name of spreadsheet
2. start row position
3. end row
4. number of columns

that is it

You will need to add both the .wax & .was files to your procomm aspect folder.
Once copied over you will need to compile the .was file once compiled.
Select the telcount from the dropdown and then click the running man.
