Need to convert old Definity to SIP trunks

Here is an old system I have.

Lucent Definity switch

3- TN2793 analog line cards, v4
1- TN22148 2W Digital LIne V3
1- TN791 Guest LIne
1- TN7988 processor
1- TN21828 Tone Clock
1- TN750C Announcement

I don't know much about these systems but need to update it to use a SIP trunk that we will be using with our new provider.

In other words, we are getting rid of the current trunk provider and the new one is coming in with a SIP trunk.
We will either need to buy a Patton device which will convert the SIP trunk to a standard PRI or have to break out the SIP trunk into individual analog lines that will in turn connect where the current lines are. The latter is the preferred method since we already have a device which can do this.

My questions are as follows.

Which card in this system is the phone lines card? I am assuming it is accepting a PRI as I didn't see any individual analog lines going into the main box. Hard to say however. It is not clear to me which card might be receiving either a PRI or analog lines via a wiring strip external to the system.

Second, is there a card which might plug into this system which would accept a SIP trunk? I doubt it since the system is so old but it's worth asking.

I am happy to provide any additional information I may have overlooked. The system is not mine and the owner doesn't want to call the original installer so it's become my job to convert this.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer.

According to the card list you have above, you only have analog ports that could be used for trunking, you do not have the capability to use a PRI based on the card list and you cannot take SIP trunks directly.

Look at the 3 TN2793 cards, your inbounds trunks are most likely on them.

It wasn't clear when I looked at the system if there were other cards installed but it appears what I've posted gives you enough information to confirm this.

So basically, I just need to find the 8 lines going into the system which will be on one of the patch panels.

After switching over, is there anything else I should be taking into consideration in terms of possibly needing to change any settings?

I need this to be a clean switch over if possible, of course.

Thanks.

By the way, figured it's worth a mention, I was thinking of using a mediatrix device to take the SIP trunk and hand it off as lines to the PBX.

Anyone know if this might be a problem.

Thanks.
