Need to Combine Overhead Page and Internal Page 1

Need to combine internal page group with Multizone valcom. Already have analog port working for external page and inernal page group set up. But need to get them to work together( with all zones working on valcom) digit 4(all zones)

I have done this before with the post dial feature, it is messy.

The last customer I did this fore, the analog port the Valcom is plugged into is extension 191 (I'm looking at it now.) User is created for this extension (Called "Overhead Page.") There's a group called "193 Page." 191, as well as the phones that need to have the page go over them are all members of this group.

I have a short code made (192) that does a DialPaging 193.

Phones have a "dial 192" button programmed on them to page the group.

Works like a charm.

The only downside is your users would hear you pressing "4" over the speakers of the digital sets. Not so bad in my opinion.

i have a similar request, but we are using an analog trunk port for paging instead of an analog station port. How would i set this up similarly to how jonnyGURU describes?

With a trunk port you cannot page internal and external at the same time. You'll have to change to using a POTS port.
