Hi all, with the help of everyone here I have gotten so far as to create a new digital phone on my Option 11c using the copy command. Works pretty good but the second line on the phone is still setup to be the same extension of the phone that I copied from. Can anyone tell me how I can change that extension to be unique to the new phone. I have an extension number picked out, just can't find anything in the docs I have on how to change the secondary extension to another number.

As always any help is appreciated.

With the help of this post, I was able to configure the second line of a moved phone. I have the same extension configured for key 0 (MARP) and key 1. However, when I pick up the receiver, both lines light up and the second line doesn't ring when one line is in use. Any suggestions?

you need a differen number on key 1. Print out one of the other phones with a rollover to see what number ranges they are using.
Most places will put their DID on key 0 and a non-did on key 1
for example
KEY 00 SCR 2420 0 MARP <-- 2420 is a DID
01 SCR 2320 0 MARP <-- 2320 is a non-DID

I printed out my personal phone as I have 2 lines. I'm assuming you mean ld 20, prt, tnb? Both keys are the same number. I don't see much different between my own phone and her phone. Is there another way to check what rollover I may be using?

Thanks.

your phone may be set up using MCR key rather then SCR.

To change to MCR feature first remove SCR assignment
at key prompt enter:
Key 0 nul
key 1 nul

then do change again and add as MCR
Key 0 MCR xxxx
key 1 MCR xxxx

Where xxxx is the same number

Be careful using the copy command. On earlier release Opt 11 s it caused corruption. Also do not use copy on acd sets. The switch will let you but it will cause major problems.
