Hi,

Know this is probably a stupid question but here goes:
We had a telecom tech out who was working on the MDF and he was able to connect a 2616 set to the MDF by using what he called a T-STAR (after pulling out the wires to the connection). Is that the correct name? I have not been able to find one through our normal vendor so far.

Thanks!

Laura

I believe it's Test Star at least that's what I always called it.

If you are refering to the MDF as the TN field, I think I know what you are looking for. They make these adapters for all different kinds if punch down typs. I have one for BIX, one for Krone, One for 66, and one for 110. I bought all of these from Greybar. If you know what type of punch down field you have I can probly get you the part number.

It is called a Testar and is made by Siemons.
They come in 2,4,6 and 8 wire configurations.
And, they ain't cheap!!
