I have no real wireless experience.

I want to connect the guard house to our building. the distance is no further than 700 feet and we do have line of site.

What would be the recomendation for a reasonable priced setup that would provide necessary security and reliability.

Speed of ~10 or more is needed.

Thank You,

John Joehnk

We have used Soletec 11m bridges. The kit is inexpensive and comes with 2 bridges and antennas. They are simple to set up. Good Luck

Hello cnyric

where can i find information on Soletec

With line of sight, the right antennas, you can shoot 700' without issue with most consumer grade acess points.

Linksys, for one example, would accomodate a bridged AP to AP without issue.

Cisco does great stuff as well, and would do a free site survey if you call them.
