I need sample code needed for connecting to queue manager via SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN, IP and port.

Then browse a local queue of that qmgr and copy the messages to a file in ascii for backup. Thank you in advance.

Have you looked at the source code for AMQSGETC? That may give you some idea of how to. :)
