I figured you guys would be the best resource to ask for a recommendation on Call Accounting software for our Merlin Magix.

I'm looking for something that is very easy to setup / configure (possibly easy enough to do it through a remote RDC connection) for our remote office. If I can avoid the 4 hour drive that would be nice.

Currently we are using Vermark's eCas on our Definity at our main office. Does Vermark make a product for the Magix?

Please let me know what you would think would be the best and easiest to use for a remote office. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Recently did a couple of installations of Metropolis Office Watch call accounting, and was impressed at how simple it was to set up and use. Has options for remote offices. I'm just wires and pliers, not sales.

Tapit is one of the best I have used. Just don't try to get it over night shipped. Mike, the sales guy, has screwed up a few of those orders.

You might try CallWhere from AA Teledata, it is windows based and is pretty easy to implement to a large variety of systems. I have used it for several years, and just installed one on a Magix 4.0.

They have a stand alone version, and a network version with server and client software for multiple locations and users.
Good pricing and support also!

You can download a 30 day version of Tapit, & try it. If you like it just buy it put in the Key & your done.

There is also some software called Call Accounting from Commone. Their website is I bought mine on ebay a few years ago and is was not expensive.

I have had very few problems with it and their support is very good and fast

Tapit does very well. I have it installed at several locations. They really have good support too.

Veramark makes an eCAS product that works well on a Magix / Legend.

We use TASKE Essential. It's pretty good except if you are going to need to do anything with calling groups, queues, or anything like that; you'd really need to get their full blown version called TASKE Contact. They also sell a version does lots of reporting, but no real time monitoring capability.
