need QSIG link help

I am trying to program a QSIG link to CISCO but there is a problem programming the DCH RCAP Prompt. I need to key in NDS, CCNR, CCBS in the RCAP prompt but the system give me an error SCH0531.

(Unable to match input with stored mnemoics.
ACTION: The RCAP prompt in overlay 16 has been answered NDS when QSUr QSIG GF are not accessible or with an inappropriate interface configured (e.g SL1). Reconfigure according.)

My system is running RLS 25.30 and has the qsig package. IS there any programming that I need to do before programming the QSIG link. Anyone can help?

Just out of curiosity, what made you choose IFC=ESGF instead of IFC=ISGF.

Hi Marc,

I have the package 316. I not very sure y must use ESGF instead of ISGF. I heard that it is due to different region.

I'm under the impression that ESIG is for E-1 and ISIG is for T-1, but can't verify that.

Hello spydummy,
here is my config to a cisco conected via E1 in germany and it works fine since one year.
CCBS CCNR and NDS (name display service,
there are 2 options, depending if you are usin integer ore opject based feautre signaling for object based you have to enter at rcab: ccno ccbo and ndo
if you want to use integer: then it is ccni ccbi and ndi at the RCAB Promt.
my printout of the DCH Trunk and RDB for you.
Im running release 25.15 on OPT61C. do you also have the pachtes for QSIG installed?

Whats the difference between INTEGER and OBJECT???

as i mentioned before, it is just a way of signaling features, if you hook 2 meridians together, you just have to do it in both systems, the same signaling integer or objekt, if you hook a Siemens HICOM "blue fridge" (smile), you have to signal integer in the meridian also on a ALCATEL 4400 i made the experience to signal integer based, because no Alcatel technician could tell me how they do their signalling, i tested it an all features are working if i enter integer based signalling.
In your case, i belive you will hook 2 meridians together so take my programming and you will have success!
If you want the details of that signaling you have to revair to the ETSI specifications!
