need pc sound card to telephone connector

Does anyone know where to buy a connector to go from the output of a PC sound card to the handset connector of a telephone? We need to play wave files from the computer to both parties on a consumer phone call. We're looking to buy 100+ of these so cost is factor. Thanks. Alan

You may need to elaborate on the use, type of phone and what you want exactly to do. After all if you wire straight into the handset, then you may end up all or nothing i.e get music and talking, nothing at all or only one of the other.

We need something that would T into the handset connector and allow full duplex conversation between the caller and the customer care agent AND allow the CC agent to play previously recorded wave files back to the caller. I've seen some online but need to explore other, hopefully less expensive, options. There's a lot of them for doing recording to the PC but we want to playback from the PC to the caller.

If you have a pbx connect the sound card to an analogue extension on the pbx and then the caller can conference in the playback line and both partys can hear the recording.

The two basic principles of Windows system administration:
For minor problems, reboot
For major problems, reinstall

I have the Dynametric TMP-605 and this worked well with my old 8400 series phone. Doesn't seem to work with the 2420.
Can anyone tell me what WILL work with the 2420?

BTW, using this device is a very cool way to listen to online radio if you have a headset with your phone such as the LKA-10. Nobody is bothered by the noise and nobody even knows you are listening to the radio. It also helps me drown out surrounding noise when I need to concentrate.
