I bought a new router from draytek for the sip trunks and wireless on my system and having major issues.

It's a small office with SIP trunking on my IP Office, so if you could recommend an extremely simple but powerful wireless router that is easy to configure with SIP trunking, please do so in the next few hours. I need to buy asap.

Thank you,

I am thinking about reverting back to my BSR222 with BAP120 I had with my BCM for comparison. The BSR was designed for VOIP traffic.

I wonder if I should just pick up a simple Linksys off the shelf at one of the electronics or big boxes here?

Do you guys think this Asus will do the trick?

ASUS Dual-Band 3 x 3 AC1750 Wi-Fi 4-Port Gigabit Router (RT-AC66U_B1)

Do I have to manually go in and telnet and disable the SIP ALG function?

This AC1750 is the newer version of the ASUS N66u you guys were talking about?

Sorry for all the questions. Amriddle, is this more of a normal type of router?

I keep my firewall/router and my wifi separated to be able to control one or the other and turn wifi off if need be by just unplugging it.
I used to have Netgear and got a Cisco for free and both worked well (can't remember the exact type to now but it is a real Cisco not a device with only the name on it.
For my wifi I use ubiquiti access points which makes it easy to have multiple AP's and control them from one PC.

Actually just switched to a Static IP, Rebooted the router and it works perfectly with remote users and SIP trunks. They originally provided me with a "rarely changing" Dynamic IP address, which I've successfully used before, but in this case, it didn't work.
