Need memory refresher for 2003 AD 1

Hi all!

Hopefully a simple question. Please correct me if I am wrong or am thinking of something different..

My company now has two Windows 2000 domain controllers. We just purchased a new Dell server that will have Windows 2003 server installed. This new server will join the domain and then be promoted to a DC as well.

My question, Does anything have to be run/installed on the Windows 2000 DC's to extend the schema or prep it for the Windows 2003 promote?

I had to do something like this before and I recall the tools being on the second CD of Windows 2003 server (I believe its also on the 1st CD as well) but i'm starting to double guess myself and wanted to make sure I am thinking correctly.
